Close to Scotland’s capital
city of Edinburgh, Pittendreich in Lasswade
is the former country home of an eminent local
judge.
In extensive grounds and overlooking
a golf course, the home is dedicated to the
nursing care of 27 older people. Extensive
refurbishment and re-decoration has restored
the house to its former glory whilst providing
cosy and comfortable surroundings. Modern
equipment and facilities ensure the health
and safety of residents with limited mobility.
Our activities co-ordinator
organises regular games and hobbies including
bingo, scrabble and arts and crafts as well
as a programme of visits around and about
the area including trips to nearby Blair Drummond,
and particularly popular, The Highland Show.
We have committees for both residents and
relatives to ensure we keep in regular touch
with their wishes and we can talk to them
about plans and activities.
