Chilton Care Home

Chilton Care Centre is in the former mining village of Chilton and the Mainsforth Collieries. The village itself has a medieval history dating to before 1388.

The brand new purpose-built care centre specialises in residential, nursing and dementia care for older people.

Across the expanse of its two storeys there are 22 bedrooms upstairs and 18 bedrooms downstairs, each with the benefit of an en-suite shower room. Both floors have two living rooms, one dining room and fully equipped bathrooms, using the latest facilities to ensure the health and safety of all residents, especially those with limited mobility.

Chilton Care Centre organises regular activities enabling residents to pursue new and existing hobbies and maintain past times such as arts and crafts, flower arranging and games.
